Initial Consultation
I invite you to schedule a complimentary 15 minute phone or virtual consultation, where we can address any questions or concerns you may have and discuss you or your child's goals for therapy. If this feels like the right next step, I look forward to connecting with you and exploring how we can work together.
In Person & Virtual
I offer both in person and virtual counseling.
-
In Office - I am available for in-office sessions on Thursdays afternoons/evenings for California residents.
-
Telehealth - I am available for online teletherapy for California residents. I utilize a HIPPA compliant Video platform.
Session Frequency and Length
Therapy is most helpful when it is consistent and predictable. I typically meet with clients for weekly sessions. Frequency of sessions primarily depends on what you or your child are experiencing and what your/their goals are. During our initial consultation, considerations for session frequency and scheduling can be discussed. Individual Sessions are 50 minutes in length and Family Sessions are 60 minutes in length, unless other arrangements have been made.
Cancellation Policy
I require a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours notice in order to cancel or reschedule an appointment without charge. If you need to reschedule with less than twenty-four (24) hours notice, I will make my best efforts to accommodate your request. However, if rescheduling is not possible, you will be charged the full session fee.
Insurance
I do not contract with any insurance carriers or bill insurance companies directly. Clients are personally responsible for the payment of all fees. I will provide a monthly superbill that will include information relevant to insurance company claims. A superbill does not guarantee any type of reimbursement of services. I encourage you to verify the specifics of your insurance coverage and benefits before treatment begins.
"No Secrets" Policy
In our work together, open and honest communication is essential. As your therapist, I am dedicated to creating a safe and supportive environment where you feel truly heard. I follow a 'no secrets' policy when working with minors under 18. If parents or caregivers share information with me, I encourage them to have a conversation with their child about what has been discussed. This helps ensure that everyone is on the same page and can work together effectively to support the child's well-being and goals. My priority is always my client's safety, progress, and fostering a collaborative, transparent approach.
